Then please join us this Tuesday, October 26th at 7:00 pm in Hill Hall for
“Mentoring: What to Expect in the Relationship with Your Advisor”
Hosted by Dr. Maurice Eftink, Associate Provost and Graduate School Dean
This program will be a candid discussion about what it means to work with a graduate advisor, what should be expected of you as a graduate student and also what you should expect of your graduate advisor. The program will also include a panel discussion concerning the working relationship between graduate advisors and students featuring:
Dr. Minjoo Oh, Associate Professor of Sociology
Dr. Laura Johnson, Associate Professor of Psychology
Dr. Gregory Tschumper, Associate Professor of Chemistry and Biochemistry
Dr. Charles Ross, Director of African-American Studies and Associate Professor of History
This program is part of a series sponsored by The Graduate School and the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning aimed at teaching graduate students what they need to know but will not learn in the classroom.
